Prescription & Lens Guide

Effective October 6, 2026

Choose the appropriate lens type

Non-prescription lenses provide no prescription correction. Readers are intended for near tasks at your selected reading power. Single-vision lenses use one prescription; progressive lenses include distance and near correction. Confirm the suitable lens type with your eye-care professional if you are unsure.

Prescription information

Use a current prescription from your eye-care professional. Single-vision and custom reader orders require the applicable values for each eye and your pupillary distance (PD). Progressive orders also require ADD values. A readable prescription photo can help us review the information.

Check plus/minus signs, right/left eye, cylinder and axis values carefully. If prism, unusual measurements, missing information or progressive fitting requirements need review, we will contact you before processing. Website recommendations do not guarantee that a particular prescription can be manufactured.

Review before preparation

Our team checks submitted information and may request clarification. Complete information is necessary for custom lens production. Do not substitute a guess for a missing measurement; ask your eye-care professional.

This website does not provide an eye examination or medical diagnosis. If your glasses cause persistent difficulty or discomfort, contact support and your eye-care professional.

For available materials, treatments, pricing and prescription recommendations, use the current product configurator. Our return and warranty policy also covers custom lens orders.
